Colin left college to join an accountancy practice in Winchester, Hampshire where he gained an excellent & varied grounding in accounts preparation, and travelled throughout the UK visiting audit clients. After seven years in practice he joined a specialist computer manufacturer in Basingstoke, Hampshire as the company accountant, and then became the Company Secretary for a specialist engineering company in Alton, Hampshire.

In these roles he was responsible for the full finance function (company strategy, planning, budgets, financial analysis, contingency planning, cashflow foecasts, & financial reports) & identifying the key performance indicators, company secretarial, computer systems, fixed asset management, premises management, car fleet, leasing, personnel & payroll, purchasing & inventory control, costing & contract costing.

After ten years in manufacturing he joined a company providing life insurance via the internet. As the Finance Director of a financial services company he prepared monthly reports for the Board, assisted in raising venture capital and in attracting a buyer, successful due diligence, was involved with risk management, and dealing with internal & external auditors.

Colin brought this experience to B20 Limited.

Colin has a wide experience of computer software; Sage , TAS, Pegasus, MYOB, Quickbooks, Tetra, and manufacturing packages.

Colin is a fellow of the ACCA and of the AAT.

After living and working in Hampshire Colin has established a portfolio of B20 Limited clients based around Alton, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Fleet and Farnham in Surrey.

His family came from Wiltshire, and Colin is now expanding the client base from Westbury, Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Corsham, Chippenham and Devizes.

Colin enjoys the countryside he drives through to visit the clients as well as walking across the fields or by the Kennet & Avon canal. He has always enjoyed sports cars and may well visit in his old MGB.
